Everest Poker is asking players to step up and represent, their country, that is at the €100,000 dollar Everest Poker European Cup (EPEC). Only 15 nations are going to qualify and each nation is going to have a team made up of 15 poker players.
The teams are then going to compete in Europe’s largest freeroll for the €100,000 prize pool. The team that earns the best overall performance will win the EPEC 2010 title.
To get on one of the teams you will have to try out by qualifying online or in live games for free starting this month. The nations that are participating in the Everest Poker European Cup are:
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
You will only be able to compete in live and online qualifiers for the country that you are currently residing in.

You can start qualifying online in February through the first week of March. Each week Everest Poker will host Direct Entry tourneys, there are going to be four in total for each country. Each Direct Entry tournament will award two players with spots in the Live Finale.
There are also free daily satellites running at Everest Poker that award players with a seat into the Direct Entry Satellite that runs the following week. There are going to be six satellites a day for each country and the top 25 players from each satellite will move on to the Direct Entry tourney.
There are 225 Live Finale spots up for grabs and f you make the cut you will win a EPEC Live Finale package valued at €2,000.
Your prize package will include everything you need, your buy-in and hotel accommodations for a fun and profitable weekend of poker in Southern Europe later this year in May.
