As the official sponsor of the English Poker Open PokerKings is hosting satellite tournaments into the 2010 EPO Main Event. On the line is $1 million guaranteed in this special NL Hold'em Freezeout tournament.
PokerKings satellite tournaments into the 2010 English Poker Open start on Monday, July 5. They will include daily scheduled satellites for both €2 and €4 buy-ins along with around-the-clock Sit & Go Satellites. All players who win any one of these many daily satellites will gain entry into the €20 PokerKings English Poker Open 2010 weekly satellite semi-final, held on Sundays at 17:00 GMT. Winners of these weekly events will, in turn, gain entry into the monthly €215 PokerKings English Poker Open 2010 finals, to be held on July 25 and August 22.
The PokerKings English Poker Open 2010 is to take place September 11 - 14 at Mayfair, London's luxurious Palm Beach Casino. The PokerKings prize package into the 2010 English Poker Open gives the winners not only the $5,350 buy-in for the main event, but also around €1,500 to put toward travel expenses (the "around" is because exchange rates fluctuate). In total, the PokerKings English Poker Open 2010 prize packages are worth approximately €6,000.
The PokerKings English Poker Open 2010 satellites are just one of several satellite tournament series' that PokerKings offers into major live land-based poker tournament events. Other PokerKings satellite tournament series' include the 2010 Casinos Austria Poker Tour (CAPT Austria) and the 2010 Scottish Poker Open.
The 2010 Casinos Austria Poker Tour is comprised of 6 events, 3 of which have already taken place and 3 of which have yet to occur. The next event on the CAPT 2010 schedule is in Velden, from July 11 to 18. Following that are CAPT Graz, from August 24 - 29, and the Poker EM - CAPT Baden, dates yet to be announced. All of these are €2,000 events, though PokerKings is running satellites now for much cheaper.
The 2010 Scottish Poker Open takes place August 6 to 8 at the Alea Casino in Glasgow and has a main event buy-in of €2,750. But again, there are ample PokerKings satellites into this event happening now.
