The Grand Series of Poker (GSOP) returns in style at BestPoker. The GSOP III can offer another increase in cash and prizes to be won and now you can be competing for over $3,000,000 in as many as 15 guaranteed tournaments that will be followed by the $300,000 Guaranteed Grand Slam. It doesn't matter whether you are a Texas Hold'em player or whether you prefer Omaha Hi/Lo. Fancy Hold'em 4 handed? Do you prefer No Limit Hold'em Deepstacks? The Grand Series actually open with a Deepstack tournament on September 27.
In order to compete at any of the 15 daily events (starting September 27 until October 11) you can either opt for a direct buy-in (ranging anywhere from $50+4 up to $500+25) or you may participate in the daily qualifiers. Once you secured your place in any of the GSOP III Events you will also be able to earn points for the Grand Slam Final Leaderboard that may earn you a much sought after ticket for the $300,000 Guaranteed Grand Slam Final. Of course if you win any of the 15 events you are automatically qualified.

If you don't want to play in the 15 tournaments of the GSOP you may still compete in the Grand Slam Final. How so? You can either play in specific Grand Slam Qualifiers or choose to show your commitment by going for the direct buy-in of a whopping $5,000+0. Yes, you heard right. Five Thousand Dollars! Those qualifiers look like a pretty nice option all of a sudden, huh?
And for the thrill seeking high rollers among us the GSOP III will offer a side bet option again. The GSOP III SideBet basically makes it even more interesting for serious players who have confidence in their abilities and plan on competing in most or all events. You can place a bet of $1,000 on yourself before the start of the series and if you are among the top finishers of all side betters in the GSOP III Leaderboard you will get your share of the loot. The payout structure of course depends on the amount of participants. We do not recommend the GSOP III SideBet to anyone who only wishes to participate in a few events (or maybe even just one).
